Carnival Cruise Line is extending its latest main dining-room dinner menus to six additional ships during October and November 2026.

Carnival Elation and Carnival Valor became the first ships in the latest rollout wave to introduce the menus on 17 October, followed by Carnival Horizon on 18 October.

Carnival Paradise is scheduled to follow on 5 November, Carnival Freedom on 7 November and Carnival Legend on 19 November. Once those introductions are completed, the revised menus will be available across 24 Carnival ships.

Carnival's latest menu rollout dates

  1. Carnival Elation: introduced on 17 October 2026.
  2. Carnival Valor: introduced on 17 October 2026.
  3. Carnival Horizon: introduced on 18 October 2026.
  4. Carnival Paradise: scheduled from 5 November 2026.
  5. Carnival Freedom: scheduled from 7 November 2026.
  6. Carnival Legend: scheduled from 19 November 2026.

The dates refer to the beginning of the individual cruise on which each ship is expected to start offering the selection. As always, dishes and availability can vary by voyage and operational requirements.

Menus already available on 18 ships

Carnival's latest menu programme began aboard Carnival Magic in January 2026 and has since expanded in stages across the fleet.

Ships already offering the selection include Mardi Gras, Carnival Panorama, Carnival Sunshine, Carnival Liberty, Carnival Jubilee, Carnival Pride, Carnival Spirit, Carnival Conquest, Carnival Vista, Carnival Miracle, Carnival Celebration, Carnival Venezia and Carnival Dream.

Together with other completed introductions, Carnival says 18 ships were serving the menus before the six-ship autumn expansion.

What is included in the new menu?

The changes apply to Carnival's main dining-room dinner service rather than every restaurant aboard the ships. The programme refreshes the nightly selection while retaining the broad choice expected in Carnival's principal complimentary dining rooms.

One of the dishes highlighted during the earlier rollout was Beef Wellington, described as a beef fillet with mushroom pâté wrapped in puff pastry. Individual dishes may rotate and guests should check the menu displayed for their particular evening and sailing.

Carnival brand ambassador John Heald said the menus had been well received by guests. He also praised the company's culinary teams for producing a wide selection for thousands of passengers while working within a daily food budget.

More ships will follow

Carnival also intends to bring the menu to its ships based in Australia. A date for that stage of the rollout is still being determined.

Carnival Firenze and Carnival Radiance are also expected to receive the new selection at a later date, but no confirmed introduction dates were included in the latest update.

Those ships should therefore be treated as planned additions rather than part of the dated October and November rollout.

Carnival Legend joins the rollout in November

The addition of Carnival Legend will be particularly relevant to European and UK cruise followers. The ship has recently operated an extended programme that included European voyages before repositioning for its next deployment.

Its menu introduction is scheduled to begin with the cruise departing on 19 November. Passengers booked after that date should see the revised selection in the ship's main dining room, subject to Carnival's usual ability to adjust onboard offerings.

A fleet-wide approach to dining

Rolling the menu out in stages allows Carnival to collect feedback, refine individual dishes and give culinary teams time to prepare for the new recipes and supply requirements.

Earlier in the programme, Carnival described the menu as being evaluated through guest reactions, with the possibility of changes or additions. The latest six-ship expansion indicates that the company is continuing towards a much wider fleet rollout.

The update is not the launch of an additional paid restaurant. It is a change to the dinner choices offered in existing main dining rooms, making it relevant to a broad proportion of guests rather than only passengers purchasing speciality dining.
