Disney Fantasy is a Dream-class ocean cruise ship operated by Disney Cruise Line and the sister ship of Disney Dream. Meyer Werft delivered the vessel to Disney Cruise Line in Bremerhaven on 9 February 2012, ahead of her maiden voyage from Port Canaveral on 31 March 2012.
Meyer Werft publishes a gross tonnage of 130,000 GT, overall length of 339.5 metres, moulded beam of 37 metres, 18 decks, maximum passenger capacity of 4,000 and 1,250 passenger cabins. The builder lists total engine power of 76.8 MW. Its current ship page displays 17 knots, while Meyer Werft's detailed technical publication gives 23.5 knots; Deck7 records 23.5 knots as the technical maximum-speed figure and documents the source distinction.
Of the 1,250 passenger cabins, Meyer Werft identifies 1,102 as outside cabins including suites and 148 as inside cabins. The ship shares many of Disney Dream's defining features, including Art Deco-inspired interiors, virtual portholes and the AquaDuck water coaster.
Environmental systems
Disney Fantasy is a conventionally fuelled diesel-electric vessel and is not LNG-powered. Deck7 has not assigned a definite ship-specific high-voltage shore-power status or exhaust-gas cleaning system configuration without sufficiently clear current primary-source evidence. Those fields remain Not confirmed rather than being inferred from Disney Cruise Line's wider environmental initiatives.
Identification
Disney Fantasy's permanent IMO number is 9445590. The ship sails under the Bahamas flag with Nassau as its registry. Dynamic AIS identifiers are retained in the Ship Index where available but should be periodically reverified.
