Sitka

Sitka is a major Southeast Alaska cruise destination served by the two-berth Sitka Sound Cruise Terminal, while additional cruise ships may anchor in Sitka Sound and tender passengers directly into downtown.

Dock

Sitka is served by the privately operated Sitka Sound Cruise Terminal on Halibut Point Road, Sitka's only deep-water cruise ship dock. The terminal has two full-size berths and states that it can simultaneously accommodate two cruise ships up to 1,100ft (335.3m) each.

The terminal uses a floating dock system designed to maintain reliable passenger access through Sitka's significant tidal variation. Ships not docking at the terminal may anchor in Sitka Sound and tender passengers directly into downtown Sitka.

A complimentary shuttle links the cruise terminal with downtown, normally taking around 10–15 minutes. The operator states that the terminal is fully ADA accessible and provides accessible shuttle vehicles.
